Are you Leila, or Fergie? It’s the question I hear at nearly every event. The answer? Neither. My atelier is named for my grandmother, Leila Ferguson—known to her grandchildren as Grandma Fergie.

I’ve always loved making beautiful things. Crocheting, sewing, drawing, painting, and jewelry making eventually led me to handbag design, where years of self-taught creativity came together. Along the way, I discovered that neutrals make room to breathe, while color brings a look to life.

To me, color is more than decoration—it’s a language. The right detail can lift a mood, spark a memory, and make an everyday outfit feel entirely your own.
